The author mentions in his introductory note that, this work narrate the centuries of cursed slaves’ deadly revenge on the white race during the war. It should be a thoughtful fact that Andersonville camp commandant Henry Wirz was the only person to be executed on of the war crimes. This book was published after the author was released from the captivity. As soon as it was published, became the best seller and remained popular for next twenty years.
