Commonly called as King James Bible or Authorized Version, this translation spanned across seven years from 1604 to 1611. In response to the problems in the translation perceived by the puritans on the earlier translations of King Henry VIII and Bishops' during the periods 1535 and 1568, this translation was approved by the Church of England and generally called as King James Version.
